Originally from New York State,
Matthew studied finger style and classical guitar with Ignacio Vecchio for
eight years before advancing his study of
the guitar by attending Berklee College of Music from 1980 to 1984.
He graduated with honors and attained a Bachelors of Music Degree in Guitar
Performance.
