Originally
from the Mid-Hudson Valley in New York State, Matthew studied finger style
and classical guitar with Ignacio Vecchio for several years before
advancing his study by attending the Berklee College of Music from 1980 to
1984. He graduated with honors and attained a Bachelors of Music
Degree in Guitar Performance.
